Nepal Tour Short Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

• Welcome at Tribhuvan International Airport
• Transfer to hotel in Thamel (or similar)
• Short evening walking tour of Thamel (local market, cafes)
• Overnight in Kathmandu

Day 2: Kathmandu Heritage Tour

• Visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites:
• Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple)
• Patan Durbar Square
• Pashupatinath Temple (Hindu cremation site)
• Boudhanath Stupa (Buddhist pilgrimage site)
• Cultural dinner with traditional Nepali dance
• Overnight in Kathmandu

Day 3: Drive to Pokhara (6–7 hrs)

• Scenic drive through hills and rivers (flight optional)
• Stop at local towns and viewpoints
• Check-in at lakeside hotel
• Sunset at Phewa Lake
• Overnight in Pokhara

Day 4: Pokhara Sightseeing

• Early morning sunrise from Sarangkot with Himalayan views (Annapurna, Machhapuchhre)

• Gupteshwor Cave
• World Peace Pagoda
• International Mountain Museum
• Boat ride on Phewa Lake to Barahi Temple

Day 5: Adventure or Leisure in Pokhara

Day 6: Drive to Chitwan National Park (5–6 hrs)

• Arrive at jungle lodge/resort
• Cultural Tharu village visit & sunset at Rapti River
• Tharu cultural dance performance in the evening
• Overnight in Chitwan

Day 7: Jungle Safari Activities

• Morning canoe ride and jungle walk
• Elephant safari or Jeep safari in the national park

Day 8: Return to Kathmandu (5–6 hrs)
